Responsibility from an early age
The Be Internet Awesome program in the Czech Republic effectively supports teachers and students in building a safe and kind online environment. Through engaging workshops, exercises, and drama activities, children learn what digital courage means, how to respond to threats, and how everyday kindness shapes peer relationships. Between 2021 and 2026, the program reached over 2,000 teachers, delivering key digital values and safety principles to more than 25,000 students across the country.

The close alignment of Be Internet Awesome content and materials with the curriculum is one of the key factors behind the success of the program in Lithuania. As a result, our lesson plans are easily and naturally integrated into subject-specific classes.

How can we reach people living in small towns with information about safe internet use? The best way is to go there! This was the approach taken by our Moldovan partners, who visit smaller and larger schools. As a result, over 3,000 teachers, 90,000 students, and 3,000 parents have participated in BIA training sessions.

Be Internet Awesome offers not only online training and ready-made lesson plans but also in-person workshops at schools, which allow students to experience the program’s values firsthand: common sense, mindfulness, strength, kindness, and courage.
