Wide network of ambassadors
The program has successfully built a strong network of ambassadors, strengthening educators’ skills through online certification. It stands out because it not only trains individuals but also creates a snowball effect – trained ambassadors share their knowledge with colleagues, allowing a culture of digital safety to spread naturally throughout the school.

Responsibility from an early age
The Be Internet Awesome program in the Czech Republic effectively supports teachers and students in building a safe and kind online environment. Through engaging workshops, exercises, and drama activities, children learn what digital courage means, how to respond to threats, and how everyday kindness shapes peer relationships. Between 2021 and 2026, the program reached over 2,000 teachers, delivering key digital values and safety principles to more than 25,000 students across the country.

Be Internet Awesome levels the playing field and ensures equal access to digital education for students, regardless of their background or family situation. Students learn how to stay safe online and how to create secure passwords. This helps them know how to protect themselves from unwanted situations.

The close alignment of Be Internet Awesome content and materials with the curriculum is one of the key factors behind the success of the program in Lithuania. As a result, our lesson plans are easily and naturally integrated into subject-specific classes.
🇲🇩 MOLDOVA
By Bus Through Moldova
How can we reach people living in small towns with information about safe internet use? The best way is to go there! This was the approach taken by our Moldovan partners, who visit smaller and larger schools. As a result, over 3,000 teachers, 90,000 students, and 3,000 parents have participated in BIA training sessions.

Be Internet Awesome at the Edge of Poland
Be Internet Awesome offers not only online training and ready-made lesson plans but also in-person workshops at schools, which allow students to experience the program’s values firsthand: common sense, mindfulness, strength, kindness, and courage. It is particularly important to reach smaller towns, where access to such “live” activities is often limited.

Be Internet Awesome in Romania is a joint initiative that has brought online safety education to where it was truly needed: families, schools, businesses, and communities. Over 400,000 children, 5,000 parents, and thousands of teachers have developed their skills and become more aware digital citizens.

Real-life examples
Through the Be Internet Awesome program, teachers work directly with students, providing them with clear, structured materials that demonstrate safe online behavior using real-life examples. Children actively engage, share their own experiences, and develop critical thinking skills as they learn how to shape a kinder and more aware society through their own actions.

Safe Preschoolers
Understanding the rules of internet safety is also important for the youngest children, who are just taking their first steps online. In Ukraine, the Be Internet Awesome program is packed with additional activities focused on emotional and social development, which is particularly important for young children.
