🇭🇷 CROATIA

It is an association whose main goal is to spread good practices related to modern technologies in school. It brings together teachers willing to share their experiences and learn from others. It runs several educational programs. At Be Internet Awesome, it focuses on working with male and female teachers, male and female students, and parents from schools located on remote Croatian islands and in the earthquake-affected areas of 2020.

🇨🇿 CZECH REPUBLIC

The organization focuses on working with children and youth at risk of addiction. It supports those in need to build healthy relationships with themselves, peers, the community and nature. The programs it runs are aimed at prevention, but also at helping them deal with risky behavior at school and online. Be Internet Awesome’s trainers work with teachers , showing them methods for working with children and adolescents and providing educational materials.

🇬🇷 GREECE

The Foundation for Research and Technology – Hellas (FORTH) is the largest Greek State R&D Centre. It is divided into seven departments, one of which specializes in information technology. It is within its framework that programs related to online security, including Be Internet Awesome, operate. The institute’s activities are under the auspices of the Greek Ministry of Education. The organization focuses on running the program in multicultural environments, trying to reach children and young people with migration experience. The Greek Safer Internet Center SaferInternet4Kids has operated as part of the Institute of Computer Science of FORTH since July 2016.

🇭🇺 HUNGARY

The organization has been operating since 1990, conducting various activities to support children. ICSS’ activities are mainly financial assistance and projects with social and health themes. The Be Internet Awesome program is run by the national Safer Internet Center. It offers educational conferences and materials on digital safety. ICSS trainers and coaches conduct workshops with male and female students in Hungarian schools.

🇱🇻 LATVIA

Latvian Internet Association is a public organization that unites Latvian internet service providers (ISP) and other domestic and foreign ICT companies in Latvia, and represents interests of LIA members in development of internet related legal provisions. LIA also coordinates the work of Latvian Safer Internet Centre with the main tasks to educate, inform and raise awareness in society about the safer use of internet and provide an opportunity to report breaches and illegal online content to Hotline via Drossinternets.lv website.

🇱🇹 LITHUANIA

Vedliai is an organization that focuses on developing digital competence among male and female teachers and children and young people. Its mission is to create tools to help young people discover the potential of new technologies. It offers online and offline courses, as well as a platform with educational materials. Its Be Internet Awesome program focuses on working with Ukrainian children and young people who are in Lithuanian schools and Ukrainian schools in Lithuania.

🇵🇱 POLAND​

The School with Class Foundation is an expert, non-profit organization, based in Warsaw, Poland. Founded in October 2015, it has reached more than 1/3 of all Polish schools and trains more than 10,000 teachers each year. It supports schools in change, helping them to become innovative, open environments, committed to solving social problems; ones with relationships based on mutual respect and trust. As part of the Be Internet Awesome program, it seeks to support children and young people with various educational needs.

🇷🇴 ROMANIA & 🇲🇩 MOLDOVA

The organization’s goal is to support teachers and students in developing digital competence. Adfaber runs several programs on the subject, offering training for male and female teachers, educational materials, competitions, scholarships and experience sharing. Their activities are under the auspices of the Ministry of Education. As a result, the Be Internet Awesome program is known throughout Romania, and as of fall 2023 it is also being conducted in Moldova.

🇸🇰 SLOVAKIA

Focusing on digital skills, the goal of Informatika 2.0 organization is to support teachers of primary and secondary schools in Slovakia – by training them in digital skills and preparing lesson plans for them. Unfortunately, teachers in Slovakia often lack the skills and modern and complex teaching materials to lead high-quality classes. CS teachers play a crucial role in equipping pupils with essential digital skills. In an increasingly technology-driven world, these skills are fundamental for their academic and professional success in the 21th century.

🇺🇦 UKRAINE

EdCamp Ukraine, founded in 2015, is a leader in non-formal education in Ukraine. It has more than 47,000 community members, representing every second school in the country. Activities focus on improving teachers’ skills through EdCamp format events, supporting education reform and applying international educational practices.The EdCamp professional development format events are highly innovative and were included in the 2019-2021 Top 100 innovations worldwide in education by the international educational NGO HundrED. The organization is recognized by international institutions and supports Ukrainian teachers during the war.
